Iijoki Organic Farm – local food, crafts, and countryside charm in the heart of the village
Located in Sulkava, Iijoki Organic Farm opens its gates in the spirit of the Saimaa Harvest Festival on Saturday, September 13. Come and enjoy the flavors of local food, the cozy atmosphere of the old grain barn café, and the warm hospitality of the countryside.
The farm shop will be open, offering products from the farm itself and other local producers. The Riihi Café will treat visitors to sweet and savory delights, and the courtyard is home to friendly farm animals like sheep and chickens.
You’ll also find local artisans and makers showcasing and selling their handcrafted goods – and don’t miss the blacksmithing demos where iron is shaped by hand before your eyes. To end the day, you might be treated to a fiery show or acrobatics – a perfect finale to an unforgettable rural experience.
