Enjoy the winter activities and beautiful nature in Linnansaari National Parks Arctic trail. Saimaa Arctic Trail runs from Oravi, through Linnansaari National Park to Järvisydän. From Oravi to Linnansaari ca. 5 km as the total lenght of the trail is ca. 20 km. The route is open for skiers and walkers and weather permitting also for skaters and kick sparks. There are fire places along the route and a cafeteria on Linnansaari (open mainly on Saturdays). Always check the café opening hours from the Journal on our website. On Linnansaari island you can find marked snowshoe trails.
The Linnansaari Winter package includes:
– accommodation in Oravi Apartments dbl/ twin room
– 2 x winter activity sets (tour skating set + Saimaa Arctic Trail passes, kick spark set, snowshoeing set, cross country skiing set or winter fishing set) for 1 day
– lake hut fire wood fee

Oravi Apartments is located in Oravi village, only ca. 100 m from rental shop, cafe, shop and the tour skating/ winter hiking trail. The Saimaa Arctic Trail takes you into the beautiful national park of Linnansaari. First to Linnansaari main island 5 km and from there to Pieni-Lappi and Hotel & Spa Resort Järvisydän. At the main island you can find marked snow shoe tracks up to 7 km.
