Pikku Kakkonen’s playground in the Savonlinna city centre, close to Olavinlinna Castle, is a children’s favourite. The park is located in the shore in beautiful landscapes, so parents enjoy their time there, as well.
There is a lot of nice equipment in the park. The area is fenced, so even the smallest kids can play there safely.
Next to the playground, there is a sandy beach with changing rooms and piers. In the surrounding lawn areas, it is nice to soak in the sun and enjoy some snacks, for example. In summer, there is an ice cream kiosk.
Olavinlinna Castle and Riihisaari museum are located close to the playground. The Savonlinna city centre is also a short distance away.
