The total length of the prepared route from Oravi through Linnansaari National Park to Rantasalmi, is up to 20km /one way depending on the weather conditions. The route is one of the most beautiful ice trails in Finland. The route is open for skaters, kick sparks, skiers and walkers.

There are fire places along the route, a lake hut in Savonselkä and a cafeteria on Linnansaari main island (always check the cafeteria opening hours from the Journal on our website).

The route fee is 8 €/person/day for skaters and kick sparks and free of charge for skiers and walkers.
