The total length of the marked route from Oravi through Linnansaari National Park to Rantasalmi, is up to 20km /one way depending on the weather conditions. The route is one of the most beautiful ice trails in Finland.
There are fire places along the route, a lake hut in Savonselkä and a cafeteria on Linnansaari main island (always check the cafeteria opening hours from the Diary on our website).
