Summer 2024 program of Savonlinna Opera Festival features works by Mozart. Mozart was a lover of good food and delicacies, especially coffee and chocolate. Viennese coffee culture flourished during Mozart’s time.
Here at Kakkukaaos, we have combined these two favorite products of Mozart into a mocha chocolate cake. The chocolatey base of the cake is infused with coffee. We moisten the cake with coffee and layer it with hazelnut-chocolate spread. Melted chocolate is drizzled on top with cream cheese. The chocolate cake is served with vanilla cream.
Drink recommendation: Dark roast coffee or Kakkukaaos’s chocolatey cocoa.
The chocolate cake is lactose-free.
