Enjoy the winter activities and beautiful nature in Linnansaari National Parks Arctic trail. Saimaa Arctic Trail runs from Oravi to Linnansaari National Park’s main island (5 km) and from there, weather permitting, continues through the entire national park via Pieni-Lappi to Hotel & Spa Resort Järvisydän (with a total length of route approximately 18 km).
The route is open for skiers and walkers and weather permitting also for kick sparks. You can see the route info in the Diary on oravivillage.com!
The Linnansaari Winter package includes:
– accommodation in Oravi Apartments dbl/twin room for 2 nights
– 2 x winter activity sets for 1 day (snowshoeing set, cross-country skiing set, winter ice fishing set or weather permitting kick sledge) – choose one
– lake hut fire wood fee
– private lake sauna with ice hole for 1h
– private sauna in the hotel for 1h
– breakfast basket each morning (delivered to the room the previous evening)

Oravi Apartments is located in Oravi village, only ca. 150m from rental shop, cafe, shop and the winter hiking trail.
There are fire places along the route, a cozy lake hut in Savonselkä and a cafeteria on Linnansaari main island (cafeteria is open mainly on Saturdays, always check the opening hours from the Diary). On Linnansaari main island you can find marked snowshoe trails up to 7km.
