The Saimaa Harvest Festival, taking place from 12 to 13 September 2026, invites groups to enjoy the autumn atmosphere, local flavors, and cultural experiences in the stunning surroundings of the Saimaa region, in and around Savonlinna.

The Saimaa Harvest Festival 2025 was launched as a pilot as part of the “Saimaa on a Plate” project. Today, the event continues to grow in the hands of local stakeholders. The development and coordination are led by the Voimaa Maasta association in close cooperation with local entrepreneurs. The aim is to establish the Saimaa Harvest Festival as an attractive and long-lasting annual autumn event.  The project was co-funded by the European Union.
