GAME MEAT
All game meat is purchased directly from local hunters—without any intermediaries! In addition to wild game, our selection includes reindeer directly from a reindeer farm in Kuusamo.
We always deliver the meat vacuum-packed and labeled. You can also visit our shop in Oravi to purchase smaller quantities of game, meat, and fish.
AVAILABILITY: Please note that game meat is available according to the seasons (hunting seasons, reindeer separation, etc.), so always check availability with our meat master. During the hunting season, fresh meat is available; otherwise, game meat is available frozen.
MOOSE
Moose meat is available starting from October 15, when the hunting season begins, and continues as long as the meat lasts.
WHITE-TAILED DEER
Available during the hunting season upon request. Half or whole carcass. The meat is cut according to your preferences and packed in vacuum packages.
REINDEER (calf)
The reindeer meat we sell is always calf meat. Half or whole carcass. Cut, vacuum-packed, and labeled.
FISH
The fish at Oravi’s game and fish shop come directly from Oravi’s own fishermen and local fishermen—without any intermediaries! The fish species include pike-perch, pike, and perch. Fish products mainly include gutted and filleted fish as well as fish mass. Delivered fish are always vacuum-packed.
FISH FILLET
Fillets are available fresh or frozen all year round. Fish species vary slightly according to the seasons. The main species are pike-perch, perch, and pike.
PIKE MASS
Ground and vacuum-packed fish mass is available year-round. Also available in bulk at the store. The mass is made from pike.
