A part of Kolovesi National Park is situated in Enonkoski, and this area is definitely worth a visit. Kolovesi National Park is known for its high cliffs which majestically rise from Lake Saimaa straight toward the skies. Kolovesi is a wonderful national park for canoeing trips. Every summer Enonkoski hosts a big fish market. The municipality’s summer season is opened by an event called Kesäkohinat, and, around Christmas time, the town hosts an event called Joulukuhinat.
Enonkoski has good bus connections to Savonlinna which make visiting there easier.
