On our early bird tours you will explore Linnansaari National Park and you will be able to photograph the amazing landscapes and wildlife Saimaa lake has to offer. The tour starts in Oravi village at sunrise and a professional wilderness guide takes you by boat to the best locations in the national park.
The National Park of Linnansaari consists of hundreds of uninhabited islands and islets. It is a home for the worlds endangered seal the Saimaa Ringed Seal, Ospreys, range of water and forest birds, beavers as well as for several mammals.
The morning tour starts around 4-6am so that we are able to see the nature waking up. In the morning the animals are more active, the sun light is amazing and after a chilly night we can sometimes experience a magical mist over the lake.
This safari is designed for photographers of all levels. Whether you are skilled or just a beginner. You can also join the tour without a camera and just enjoy the landscape and the experiences nature has to offer.
During the trip we’ll enjoy a light breakfast incl. coffee/tee, drink, salty snack.
Boat is equipped with life jackets, rain gear and first aid kit.
Starting place Oravi. If you are staying at one of our villas in Oravi we’ll pick you up directly from your villa.

On our lake safaris we travel with safe and fast aluminum boats that are able to land even on the rocky islands. We also have a catamaran with bow visor for easy access. All our guides have years of experience running the seal excursions and they know the best places to see the seals.
