Traditional Karelian dishes and pastries lovingly prepared by Maija Timonen.

Enjoy delicious Karelian flavours throughout the weekend, along with local vendors, live music and activities for the whole family.

A buffet lunch is served on Saturday and Sunday from 11:00 to 16:00 (€22/person). The buffet includes meat, fish, vegetables, vendace and marinated pike, followed by vanilla-flavoured gooseberry porridge and coffee or tea. Table reservations are recommended:

Sweet and savoury treats are also available throughout the day, including waffles with vanilla cream and plum-and-apple jam (€5), coffee (€2) and tea (€2).

At the Koirakatti stand, children can enjoy a free dog-themed activity trail on Saturday, and there will be products for four-legged friends on sale. A friendly dog and little chicks will also be there to delight the children on Saturday.

Live music on both days, with a performance confirmed for Saturday from 13:00 to 15:00.

Maija is known for keeping Karelian food traditions alive. She uses ingredients from local producers and wild herbs to prepare traditional dishes and pastries such as Karelian pies, sultsina pancakes and lanttusupikas turnip pasties.

Accommodation

Stay in a cozy, renovated historical school building. We offer accommodation for up to 16 people. Our spacious yard also has room for campervans and caravans.
