Villa Suruton is an art gallery housed in a historic wooden villa built in 1890 on the Kasinonsaaret islands in Savonlinna.
During the Saimaa Harvest Festival, the gallery also transforms into a cosy pop-up restaurant, bringing together local flavours, art and the atmosphere of a historic setting.
The pop-up restaurant serves creamy smoked vendace soup, made with smoked vendace from Puruveden Savukala using Ilkka Lääveri’s recipe, accompanied by organic rye bread from Muhonen Organic Farm.
