Welcome to the cozy Forest Café – AND TO MEET THE ALPACAS!
At the Forest Café, you can enjoy hot and cold drinks, as well as sweet and savory snacks, by the glow of the fireplace inside the café or on the outdoor terrace.
The café has a liquor license and offers craft beers from the local brewery, Karvila Brewery, along with beer tasting packages.
By request, we arrange coffee breaks and beer tasting events for groups, even outside regular opening hours.
At the café’s outdoor fire pits, you can roast your own picnic snacks. In winter, there is a sledding hill next to the café, with sleds available for borrowing. In summer, traditional yard games are available for café guests.
ALPACAS:
The Forest Café’s alpaca boys – Enzo, Lionel, Tyko, Jackpot, Isac, and Fransu – can be seen in the café yard all year round. Visitors can greet them from outside the fence. Please note that feeding the alpacas is not allowed, and dogs must be kept on a leash. Be aware that the fence has an electric wire!
Alpaca Activities:
– **Alpaca coffee break** under the spruce trees inside the alpaca enclosure (available during the snow-free season).
– **Alpaca walk** along the sandy roads and forest trails of Porosalmi.
The guided walk starts from the Forest Café yard and covers approximately 1–2 km. You can choose an easier route along the road or a forest trail with some elevation changes.

LOCATION:
The Forest Café is located in Järvisydän, about 300m from the Safari House.
A walking path through the forest leads to the café. Cars must be parked in the Järvisydän parking area.
