Summer of Savonlinna
Savonlinna’s summer is packed full of things to do, and summertime holidays are very popular in our area.
During the summer, you can explore the forests, or travel Lake Saimaa by boat or canoe. You can go fishing, ride horses or play golf on the shores of the Lake.
In Savonlinna town, you can experience the Savonlinna Opera Festival at Olavinlinna medieval castle, and at Punkaharju you can visit the national Finnish Forest Museum Lusto. During the summer, Savonlinna is lively and summer travel is active.
