Come and enjoy the atmosphere of Sovintola, a former village school over 100 years old, where history, culture and traditional crafts come together.
Enjoy treats at Café Korento and visit the gallery exhibition, or browse the craft shop, bookshops and second-hand shop. During the Harvest Festival, Sovintola and its courtyard come alive with local producers, artisans and Karelian delicacies.
Over the weekend, you can also watch craft demonstrations and spinning, and take part in Karelian pie-making and felting workshops. There is also a fun activity trail for the whole family and live music.
